LEPC #12
Local Emergency Planning Committee #12 is dedicated to serving the responders
of its member towns in east-central Vermont through planning and preparation
activities for incidents of all kinds, and to helping educate the citizens
of the region with safety information and tips on emergency preparedness.
The LEPC is not a response agency and does not replace any local response
agency, but rather is meant to help in local and regional emergency planning
so that plans are coordinated and exercised. The LEPC also helps to facilitate
training and serves as a clearinghouse for emergency information. LEPC
bimonthly meetings serve as useful venues for sharing information, increasing
networking among responders, and providing educational programs.
Be safe.
The next LEPC #12 Meeting will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 18th, 2008 at the Royalton State Police Station. Please call or email Kevin Geiger at 457-3188 or kgeiger@trorc.org if you plan to attend. |
